You want an injured person to see a physician
If you want to take an injured person to a physician please consider:
If you go as a "private person" to a first aid hospital in general you will have to wait there for a longer period of time. Furthermore you may get into trouble, if you take the victim to the hospital in a private car and the victim gets more sick. Therefore in this case a third person has to accompany the victim who can take care about the victim.
If the victim is delivered by the ambulance instead, it is usually treated much quicker. Costs for that are of course beared by the insurance company.
Light eye injuries can generally more quickly be treated by an eye doctor. Do not forget to call the office, to make sure that it is open. Otherwise take the victim to the hospital.
Get a trained first aider!

Accident Physician
In case of an accident at the workplace a special "accident physician" (In German: "Durchgangsarzt") should see the victim. Ask for help! Generally in a first-aid ward of a hospital (next is Benjamin Franklin) you will find a "Durchgangsarzt". |
