Note: The <embed> tag was listed by Netscape as starting in version 2.0. A second publication stipulates that <embed> did indeed start with 2.0 but that <noembed> started with 1.0. help

"The NOEMBED element defines content within EMBED that is to be used by browsers that can not activate the EMBED plug-in application." (Sandia)

"Noembed" is to "embed" as "noframes" is to "frames".
