The Compendium of HTML Elements is huge, currently occupying almost 4MB of information. Should you use the Compendium regularly, this is a lot of bandwidth to chew up. To help resolve this problem the Compendium is now available for download. The download does not use FTP:, instead, it uses HTTP:. Any attempt to download the Compendium using FTP: will result in a "File Not Found" error. Please use the link, only.

Note: The Compendium will download from the North American Site only.

The downside of downloading is that the Compendium is updated frequently. It is expected that it will go through 4 or 5 revisions through the months of September to November '97. To help solve this problem, the head page (the first page with the mirror links on it) will carry the revision number as will the sitemap. Check the revision numbers periodically.
