This is the first frame (named "upper") divided into two. The two new frames are superimposed on the old frame. The two new frames are named "topleft" and "topright". These names in no way modify the original "upper" frame name.

This example, throws away the pages "C" and "D" and the associated frame structure and reestablishes two more frames on the original "upper" frame.
